Educational Outreach
Community outreach programs introducing young learners to neuroscience and programming through hands-on workshops and mentorship.
About Our Outreach Programs
We believe in inspiring the next generation of neuroscientists by making computational neuroscience accessible and engaging for young learners. Our outreach initiatives partner with schools and educational programs to introduce students to programming, data analysis, and neuroscience research.
Programs
Girl’s Day
Interactive Python workshops designed for middle school girls, using Google Colab to explore programming through emoji manipulation and creative coding. These sessions aim to demystify programming and show that coding can be fun, creative, and accessible.
Deutsche Neuroolympiade
Supporting high school students participating in Germany’s premier neuroscience competition through data analysis workshops and research mentoring. We provide guidance on computational approaches to neuroscience research and help students develop the technical skills needed for their projects.
